To be completely honest, I find modesty to be very admirable. When someone is exceptionally gifted at something and they do not boast, it increases my respect for them ten-fold. I’m not talking about the “modesty” where you deny a compliment by saying its not true or you think otherwise because to be honest, that can get very very annoying. The type of modesty I’m talking about is where you don’t show off in gym class during basket ball even though you are the star point guard, where you don’t boast your GPA to everyone, or you don’t put down someone if they don’t have as much knowledge as you in a certain topic. Being humble is by far one of the characteristics I love to see most in others, even though I don’t see much of it in myself.

This. Another thing I hate is when people remind you of times when they helped you and don’t remember the countless number of times you’ve helped them.
