Saira Liaquat, 22 yrs, burn victim and survivor, holding an old photograph of herself before she was burned with acid by her husband. There are presently over 300 cases of burn victims registered in Pakistan. Most victims are between the ages of 14 - 25 years old.
Sometimes, on very rare occasions, I feel the need to sucker punch tyrants and robbers and just people who hurt others. When I first saw this, I felt that way. But now I hope that Allah guides the person that did this to her, and may He reward Saira for her patience.
